About the Talk

In these rapidly changing times in which we live, our spiritual connection feels more essential than ever. But what do we mean by spirituality? What is the essence of a contemporary spiritual path? What is the role of religion and what are the practices we need to engage with in order to live wisely and face the future with confidence ? Is there a divine plan? Lucy and Malcolm will be engaged in a dialogue which will examine these questions and attempt to find a bridge between the religious and the spiritual perspectives. Both are passionate about the challenge facing humanity and the potential to access the riches of a deep connection with the Divine. The audience will also be invited to share their views and experience. This evening is a memorial to Tom Cook – Alternatives former Chair and long standing member of the PCC.
